WidgetWorks takes your privacy very seriously. We neither want nor need to know anything about your personal data. To that end we have designed WidgetWorks from the ground up to ensure that your data stays completely private.
WidgetWorks is designed to connect directly to web services to fetch, process and present data on your device in real time. We do not have any servers in between and do not replicate your data anywhere, except on your device. This means, we do not have access to your usernames, passwords, API keys or other data.
Your data is stored locally on your device or stored securely on Apple’s iCloud if you choose to enable iCloud Sync. With iCloud Sync enabled only you can access your WidgetWorks dashboards, only on devices where you’re signed in to iCloud. iCloud is built with industry-standard security technologies, employs strict policies to protect your information, and is leading the industry by adopting privacy-preserving technologies like end-to-end encryption for your data. We do not have any information about your iCloud ID or its contents.
If you have opted in to allow Apple to share information with developers, we receive some anonymous analytics. In addition to Apple’s analytics WidgetWorks uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage data. Further information on data processing by TelemetryDeck can be found at https://telemetrydeck.com/privacy. We may also collect information that is not considered personally identifiable, such as crash reports. The information collected does not reflect or reference an individually identifiable user. We collect this information only for use in improving the app.
If you sign-up for a WidgetWorks Pro subscription, additional non-personally identifiable data will be kept. Your billing information, address, and name are all maintained by the App Store and are not visible to us. We will simply get information about whether or not you have purchased a subscription, the term you signed up for and when it is due to expire. This is all made available to us in an anonymous fashion.
If WidgetWorks, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that WidgetWorks goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, this policy and its effects may change or be amended. As WidgetWorks does not collect any information about you there is very little effect this would likely have in practice.
Although most changes are likely to be minor, WidgetWorks may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at our sole discretion. Your continued use of this app after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
